2021: The Year of Intimate Weddings

If 2021 taught us one thing, it is how to stay true to our core values. These intimate weddings reflect the quirkiness, love, and thoughtfulness that each of our Tapestry couples’ brought to the table. From unexpected shifts in the planning process, to an unforgettable celebration, these partners accepted change with open arms. Take a look and see how these beautiful people kept their ceremonies close to the heart. With that being said, here are some of our special moments from 2021.

BECCA + PATRICK.

Kate’s favorite moment:

“The ceremony! There were so many personal moments included in the ceremony portion of the day. From the aisle being shoveled out of the snow, the father of the bride handling an axe/lighting a fire he built to kick off the ceremony, the vows shared between the couple and their children, to the after-ceremony toast with custom hot cocoa and whisky station by the river”

ALE + CAM.

Kate’s favorite moment:

“The Intimacy. This elopement prioritized connecting immediate family members to one another and creating lots of quality time spent between loved ones. The ceremony was a deeply heartfelt moment that unified everyone together. The dinner reception was the ultimate staycation meal at a single table with lots of stories and laughs shared”

LORISSA + AERON.

Kate’s favorite moment:

“Hosting a private prayer after the first look, just me and the couple. We all cried. It was such a beautiful, intimate moment and it set the tone before joining up with family for the real deal”

JESS + KENDI.

Kaska’s favorite moment:

“I stayed in the parking lot for the ceremony due to an injured foot, and was so in love with the smoke bombs and creative use of rainbows and colors throughout the ceremony, they added such a unique touch. There seemed to be so much love and support from all those present”

ELIZABETH + CHAD.

Kaska’s favorite moment:

“Styling and coordinating all the details of the reception was a first for me. With that in mind, seeing everything come together in such a seamless way whilst interacting with vendors in person was such a unique and special experience”

KRISTEN + JOSH.

Kate’s favorite moment:

“The décor. The venue they chose was literally land, chairs, and a sink. Everything was brought in to host and Tapestry did a stellar job of executing the plan on time with the support of a diversely-abled vendor team. Also, we can’t forget the crab boil!”
