What we create for our clients is a celebration and launch into marriage that is filled with a healthy mix of joy, ease, and adventure. Celebrating love doesn't have to look any one way. You are part of a partnership where both of you want to plan this event together. This event is not centered on one partner’s vision. This event is about showing up for the process and product as loving equals.
You are clear about the bigger picture and know what you want this event to feel like. You may be unclear about the details and certainly don’t want to get lost in them.
You want a steady, spacious planning process over an expansive timeline because throwing things together at the last minute isn’t any fun.

You are NOT looking for someone to execute your “dream day” or “fairytale elopement.” Instead, you are looking for a collaborator to build out a vision that matches who you and your partner are today, in the real world.
You are NOT seeking out an Instagrammable moment. Certainly, your photos are going to look really freaking awesome when you work with us. But the priority for you is the experience over the images. You are planning this event for the lived memories, not the freeze frame images.
You are NOT beholden to stakeholders outside of your partnership, such as well meaning in-laws or family members. We make magic when we create the couple’s vision, and we don’t allow experience hijackers into our working relationship.
You are NOT someone that leaves projects to the last minute. This is truly a collaborative process and we work best with couples who like monthly check-ins, guidance, and homework to move the process forward.
You do NOT throw money at problems. The nuance of ceremony is a complex and rewarding endeavor. We all get our hands dirty in the best possible way. You are a couple that wants to be a part of the team.

We’ve been planning adventure elopements across the Pacific Northwest since 2017 and our knowledge runs deep. Together, we create plans for your travel, accommodations, local attractions, and the day of your elopement. We spend the day with you celebrating your marriage, whether it’s hiking the trail, coordinating your ceremony, hosting your friends and family (see our FAQs for more info on guests), or managing pre- or post-elopement activities. We are there to support you so that you can celebrate your way.

We recently eloped to the Cascade Mountains (all the way from Chicago) and the entire experience went off without a hitch, thanks to Kate's guidance and wisdom. What was so impressive and special about the experience was Kate's ability to connect with us, even over Zoom meetings, and integrate what we wanted for our elopement with her understanding of how to make that happens. Her and her team really valued building a relationship with us as a couple, which I think was evident in our day and the various personal touches that showed up throughout. She connected us to great people for our other vendors, handled communications and logistics and allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves. I could literally write an entire novel about how amazing Kate and Tapestry is but I will keep it short. I was a covid bride. There were many uncertainties and changes through out our elopement planning. Kate was incredible from the very beginning! She answered the many questions that we had and gave us encouragement when we had to change plans. She was great about reminding us that our elopement was about us and what we wanted. When we have difficulties making decisions she would always ask us “How do you want your day to look?” Which is a phase my husband and I commonly use now. One of my biggest wishes was not only to get married in one of Washington’s national parks but for the place in the park to be beautiful. Kate is extremely knowledgeable about the national parks... Kate also chose the greatest vendors for our elopement. Everyone was professional and welcoming. Kate and the team were also my personal hype team as I was getting ready. Kate officiated our ceremony. After our first look we had a private prayer just me and my husband. This was very important to us. Kate wrote the prayer and it brought me to tears as she read it! As I told the team the day of our elopement, Kate is a genuine soul and just over all amazing. Our elopement was more special than I imagined it to be.

I cannot say enough good things about Kate and our entire experience with her for our elopement. Kate helped us plan from afar, during covid, and then we added on her officiating services as well. The day went so smoothly and the ceremony did such a great job of getting to the heart of our relationship and tying in our family from across the country. The only downside is that now our elopement is done, we don't have a reason to talk often! Highly organized, pulled together the entire vision, and every vendor recommendation was amazing. Day went off without a hitch and far exceeded my wildest dreams and it was all thanks to Kate. 10/10 recommend.

Kate and her team killed it! Our day was perfect. We had a small ceremony on Ruby Beach. They called for rain - but Kate and her team watched the weather and suggested we move the ceremony up two hours. We did so and we had no rain. Kate covered all of the details for the day so all we had to do was get our family out to WA and follow directions the day-of. We are so thankful for Kate and her team. Our day was perfect and we couldn’t have done this without them!
