We had the absolute pleasure of spending time with Kate from Tapestry Event Co. as she wrote a heartfelt ceremony for us and was our officiant on elopement day. Let me first say, Kate is blessed with a positive, kind, and infectious personality that makes you feel like she has been your friend for years. From our first consult with Kate, we knew she’d be the perfect person to share our special moment with us. She took the time to learn about us and put those intentional moments in the ceremony. Kate agreed to join us on our adventure elopement, where we traveled to Mt. Rainier and hiked up saddle peak for the ceremony. For that we are grateful as the conversations were rich, laughter was shared, and tears flowed.

Kate is amazing. We booked her to be our officiant for our elopement. And she truly is what made the ceremony so special. From our first call with her, we knew she was the right fit for us. She is so nice, funny, and just a happy person to work with. She really puts time, care, and effort into writing your ceremony to feel like you. She works closely with you to make sure you are happy with every part of your ceremony, having no issue if you want to add something or move sections around. Kate was great at communicating through the whole time we worked with her, offering reminders about different aspects of our day so that everything went smoothly. Day of, we had to work around some weather and shift plans a little bit and Kate was so great about it and was a trooper through the chilly rainy conditions. Kate officiated our Bainbridge Island wedding, she was absolutely wonderful and we can’t recommend her enough. From the first interaction we sensed Kate’s warmth and talent for this work and truly enjoyed every step of the process collaborating with her. Tapestry did an absolutely perfect job planning our wedding on Whidbey Island. We were able to choose a package that was perfect for us, and once the planning started, Kate provided exactly the right guidance to us at the right time. When we didn't know where to turn for vendors, Tapestry was able to provide us with quality recommendations that exceeded our expectations. When we felt unfamiliar or uncomfortable with an aspect of the wedding planning, Kate instantly provided us with information or guidance, via email or even a video walkthrough. She did a great deal of work managing correspondence with vendors to ensure that we were operating ahead of schedule. And on the day of the wedding, Kate and Sara with tapestry managed every aspect of the wedding logistics -- we had literally zero things that needed to be brought to our attention, and felt that we could just relax and enjoy the weekend. My wife and I both took away both awe at the incredible job that Tapestry did, as well as gratitude for the personal touches and care that Kate provided to us as humans along the planning journey. Working with Kate and the Tapestry team was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the start, we never felt like just another couple on their list of clients. Kate took the time to really get to know us. She made sure she understood our vision for our wedding, but also helped foster our own understanding of what the marriage meant to both of us. I could type an entire essay on how much I loved working with Kate and all the ways she helped make my wedding day a beautiful celebration. But instead, I’ll give the TLDR and say Kate is a fabulous human and organizational boss who you definitely want to work with!

Kate is, without a doubt, the best wedding planner to ever wedding plan. She handled my type-A, enneagram 1 self with ease and calmed my nerves every step of the way. She is personable, genuine, FUN and, most importantly, **excellent** at what she does. My husband and I came to her with a whole lot of ideas, hopes, and dreams, and she helped us mold them into the most special day. Kate consistently goes above and beyond for her clients by communicating clearly, being hella organized, and keeping us grounded and present. She's everything you could ask for in a planner and has mastered the art of underpromising and overdelivering. Our wedding wouldn't have been even a quarter of what it was without Kate, and we are eternally grateful to her and her team. I have notoriously high expectations for every aspect of my life, and the experience exceeded all of them.

They do it in a way that makes it all not only look easy, but fun, and with a personal touch that makes you feel as though she’s not not gone to this level for anyone else. Kate and her team show up in a way you don’t know they are there, but certainly know they took care of every little moment and experience. Wedding planning is joyful, but can also be stressful at times. Kate continued to bring us back to our joy. We had the most magical day, above and beyond what we could have imagined. We were able to be present, knowing Kate and her team had it brilliantly handled.

We had an amazing time working with Kate for our PNW adventure elopement! After our first conversation with Kate, we knew she would be the perfect officiant for our day. She made our ceremony so special, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. We ended up having just a string of horrible luck in the weeks after getting married with the marriage certificate (always double check for typos in the marriage application!), health insurance, broken bones, etc., but Kate went above and beyond to help us out in any way she could. We recently eloped to the Cascade Mountains (all the way from Chicago) and the entire experience went off without a hitch, thanks to Kate's guidance and wisdom. What was so impressive and special about the experience was Kate's ability to connect with us, even over Zoom meetings, and integrate what we wanted for our elopement with her understanding of how to make that happens. Her and her team really valued building a relationship with us as a couple, which I think was evident in our day and the various personal touches that showed up throughout. I could literally write an entire novel about how amazing Kate and Tapestry is but I will keep it short. I was a covid bride. There were many uncertainties and changes through out our elopement planning. Kate was incredible from the very beginning! She answered the many questions that we had and gave us encouragement when we had to change plans. She was great about reminding us that our elopement was about us and what we wanted. When we have difficulties making decisions she would always ask us “How do you want your day to look?” Which is a phase my husband and I commonly use now. One of my biggest wishes was not only to get married in one of Washington’s national parks but for the place in the park to be beautiful. Kate is extremely knowledgeable about the national parks... Kate also chose the greatest vendors for our elopement. Everyone was professional and welcoming. Kate and the team were also my personal hype team as I was getting ready. Kate officiated our ceremony. After our first look we had a private prayer just me and my husband. This was very important to us. Kate wrote the prayer and it brought me to tears as she read it! As I told the team the day of our elopement, Kate is a genuine soul and just over all amazing. Our elopement was more special than I imagined it to be.

Where to start? We are so incredibly grateful to have found Kate at Tapestry. She was there for us through every twist and turn along the way and not only did it make the wild ride of planning through COVID that much more enjoyable (shocking I know!), but we are coming away from this with a lifelong friend. The best example I can think of is that on our wedding, we had an unexpected downpour of rain (I'm talking about flash flooding here) 15 minutes before our ceremony. Kate zoomed in and out of our hiding room, constantly smiling and making us feel totally cared for. She arranged the outdoor ceremony to be moved into an indoor room of the venue, and even though we weren't outside to see it, we heard countless guests singing her praises for communicating with them, moving decor out of the rain, and making an intimate ceremony space from the ground up. She even had champagne waiting for us as we processed from our ceremony! If Kate was stressed, we never would have known it - and that's what you want! Our experience with Tapestry could not have been better! They went above and beyond our expectations. They were incredibly helpful in de-stressing the planning process and helping us narrow down the values that were most important to us for our wedding day. They were extremely timely in answering any questions we had throughout the process and even helped us navigate through an issue with a vendor that happened after our wedding was over.

On the day of our wedding the weather forced a lot of our plans to change and Kaska and Bri were amazing at rolling with the punches to make sure everyone was still able to have a great time.

Kate saved the day for us! My husband and I had a very small wedding ceremony in September 2020 on our original wedding date, but had always planned to have a larger wedding when COVID became more manageable. Fast forward to 2022, our wedding was coming up at the end of March and we had no idea what to do for our ceremony. We knew we wanted to have a ceremony again so our friends and family could share in that experience, but we were at a loss for what to include in this "second" marriage ceremony (everything online was about a second marriage after a divorce - not our situation!). We contacted Kate to officiate for us and explained all of our concerns in our initial call and immediately felt at ease when Kate assured us she knew what to do! We filled out some in-depth questionnaires about our relationship and the end result was a beautiful ceremony in front of our loved ones that was more than we could've hoped for! Kate also included a fun surprise that we will cherish forever. We heard from several friends and family members how much they loved our ceremony and that is all thanks to Kate - she was a great partner, helped alleviate a stressful part of the wedding planning process, and was a joy to work with - we cannot recommend her enough!!

I cannot say enough good things about Kate and our entire experience with her for our elopement. Kate helped us plan from afar, during covid, and then we added on her officiating services as well. The day went so smoothly and the ceremony did such a great job of getting to the heart of our relationship and tying in our family from across the country. The only downside is that now our elopement is done, we don't have a reason to talk often! Highly organized, pulled together the entire vision, and every vendor recommendation was amazing. Day went off without a hitch and far exceeded my wildest dreams and it was all thanks to Kate. 10/10 recommend.

Kate and her team killed it! Our day was perfect. We had a small ceremony on Ruby Beach. They called for rain - but Kate and her team watched the weather and suggested we move the ceremony up two hours. We did so and we had no rain. Kate covered all of the details for the day so all we had to do was get our family out to WA and follow directions the day-of. We are so thankful for Kate and her team. Our day was perfect and we couldn’t have done this without them!

Kate was a dream to work with! From the beginning I could tell she cared deeply about getting to know myself and my fiancé and what we wanted out of the experience. We found Kate (and Tapestry Event Co) through our elopement photographer. We were in search of an officiant for our wedding day. We set up a zoom appointment with Kate and we clicked immediately! Her energy, vibe and personality is so wonderful. She is one of the nicest humans you’ll ever meet. She did an outstanding job with creating a beautifully scripted ceremony that felt so special to us as a couple. It was custom to what we wanted. After the ceremony her and Chelsea from her team had set up this beautiful picnic we designed together. My husband and I had lunch, wine and cut our cake.
