How does it work?

Every couple identifies their pain points and questions for our session. We want to center your big, hairy questions and priorities during our time together.

Not sure what you should be asking? No problem! We send a list or sample questions and categories to help get the wheels turning during our session. If anything comes up before our chat, you can simply put it on that email thread.

In each planning stage, we proactively offer advice in the areas that you’ll come up against next. And then we put that advice in writing for you in a follow up email, complete with related resources, templates, and tips!

If one session is enough, then plan on friend! If you’d benefit from the help of follow up sessions, we can help you set that up a la carte as a way to customize your planning support strategy.

What can we cover in an hour?

IN THE PRE-PLANNING STAGES: We can review your vision and your values; we can outline your approach to your guest list and venue tours; and we can establish a set of budget expectations to get you off to the races!

IN THE MID-PLANNING STAGES: We can check in on your project management deliverables; we can create a checklist for the next 3 months of tasks; and we can create or review your timeline to ensure it’s a workable and well-considered outline of your day.

IN THE FINAL STAGES: We can gut-check any planning decisions you have made thus far; we can review your timeline, budget, to do list, ceremony, or any other cornerstone piece of your celebration; and we can ensure you have all the day-of details decided for a stress-free celebration.

Just want to start on the right foot?

Fabulous! We can absolutely advise on the best course of action.

If you want us to take the lead on your first planning session, we will…

—Teach you how to combine your values and priorities with your wedding planning strategy to create an aligned experience.
—Outline your estimated wedding budget, set price point expectations, and advise on the most beneficial areas to invest in your vision.
—Discuss the intersection of your guest list and your venue, including how to communicate about your event (without getting overwhelmed) as well as creating a memorable guest experience.
—Give you a roadmap for the next three months of planning so that you can make professional-level decisions as you move forward with planning your wedding.

LOOKING FOR MORE HELP?

We offer bundles of two or three sessions with added perks!

In your follow up sessions, we can cover…

WHAT DO REAL COUPLES HAVE TO SAY ABOUT WEDDING PLANNING POWER HOUR?

We got so much clarity around the direction we wanted to move in and we are feeling so much more confidence and excitement to plan our wedding...truly a testament to your passion and expertise in the wedding industry. We can’t wait to book again once we get some decision making going!
— KAYLEIGH + MASON
My fiancé and I got engaged and couldn’t quite figure out what we wanted. At one point, we reached out to Tapestry and Kate was so genuine, responsive, and incredibly helpful. It was evident that her goal was to guide couples to do whatever makes them the happiest and to make the process of finding [that] out intentional and meaningful.
— Veronica
One powerful session with Kate produced a clear checklist of objectives for the lead-up to our wedding day and left us feeling confident that we would have everything ready for our coordinator the month of our event. Wedding Planning Power hour is a game changer, no matter what phase of planning you are in, and Kate is the voice of organization and reason you need to get or stay on track.
— Nina + Nicole
It’s so refreshing to find someone who understands that weddings are about connection and experience. Planning Power Hour kept me focused on all the right things and gave me permission to let go of the noise and perfectionism you find on the internet.

HAVE MORE QUESTIONS?

I created Wedding Planning Power Hour because…

  • I want to assist more couples with the launch and journey of their planning process. Not all couples fit neatly into a planning support package. Wedding Planning Power Hour is built to be nimble and adaptable; we talk about the most important topics that you bring to the table!

  • I have an incredible number couples connect with our Tapestry values and methodology, but I can only work with so many people in a given year in our planning support packages. I am excited to connect with you about your event and create custom solutions for the questions and roadblocks that you are facing.

  • I believe that weddings can be planned at any price point. You don’t have to work with a certain budget to access good planning advice. Wedding Planning Power Hour is a budget-friendly solution for anyone who may be taking on the lion’s share of the planning and who is ready to raise their hand for a little professional support. I’m here and I have your back.

  • —Have a wedding or elopement scheduled for the upcoming year. I talk to couples who have an upcoming date, but also couples who have no date on the calendar and need some help with their initial direction and boundaries!

—Be planning a wedding or elopement where I live. I live in Washington and plan weddings and elopements up and down the West Coast. That said, my event planning experience and skills benefit anyone planning a marriage celebration, anywhere.

—Want to hire me! If we feel a mutual fit, we can certainly discuss the possibility of working together after the call. But there is no attachment to an ongoing working relationship for the purposes of this call. I show up with the sole aim of being as helpful to you and your current curiosities and challenges for one hour. And if you already have vendors or a coordinator hired, that’s great! I can teach you how to be an incredible client to them in your planning journey and show up in the final months as the best partner you can be.
